Meet Kirk, a Young Stroke Survivor Living with PseudoBulbar Affect

Kirk, an aspiring pilot living in Austin, Texas, suddenly faced an unexpected challenge that greatly impacted his life. At age 24, he experienced a cerebral edema followed by a stroke and was later diagnosed with PseudoBulbar Affect (PBA). His journey toward recovery is captured in The PBA Film Project (working title).  

This one-of-a-kind documentary offers a glimpse into what life is like for Kirk, a young man living with PBA and the side effects of a stroke. It also highlights the commitment and compassion between a father and son, and what they hope to accomplish by participating in this film.
